| BMW R1200 GS Adventure Enhanced Dome |

The R 1200 GS Adventure Dome shield is available in three different heights and all sizes about two inches wider than the original. This shield features a subtle reverse curve that pushes the air up and over the rider The result is a nice pocket of clean air that reduces or eliminates the turbulent buffeting effects associated with the original shield. The biggest advantage of the Adventure enhanced system is the support bracket which allows for a taller shield that provides solid stability in all conditions.

Our Wind Wings are effective at deflecting the air away from the lower body just like the originals. Our replacement Wind Wings can be purchased separately or with one of our cost saving packages (see order cart below).
Please be advised that our replacement Wind Wings will not fit 2010 & up GSA models. They will fit 2010 & up GS models but only when equipped with a Cee Baileys shield.
All shields are manufactured from .150 aircraft grade acrylic and available in clear, green, light & dark gray tints.
Suggested Sizing is for most average body builds with stock height seats. Riders that are caught in between sizes need to determine torso, posture and neck considerations for best results. It is always better to be on the next shorter size when ordering dark gray (Must clearly see over the shield).
18” for most riders 5’7” to 5’10”
20” for most riders 5’11” to 6’2”
22” for most riders 6’3” or taller

Clamping bolts are used for adjusting the shields height and the originals have been reported break without warning. Our design is built to last a lifetime with fully threaded brass inserts, upgrade now & you’ll be glad you did. For riders purchasing the enhanced system please be advised that most of the original clamping bolts are too short. Our extra long shaft makes installation and shield adjustment a breeze for any GS or GSA model. |
