The R1200GS standard windshield was designed for simplicity and utility. The contour and angle of the original are very similar to our replacement shield. These shields are available in four different heights with two different width options. Two inches wider is good for most average sized riders while our four inch version is designed for larger torsos or riders who just want more upper torso protection. Road tests have confirmed our shield to be more effective than the original with reduced turbulence and buffeting. Riders seeking the maximum protection of a touring shield should consider upgrading to our enhanced version on the previous page.

Our Wind Wings are effective at deflecting the air away from the lower body just like the originals. Our replacement Wind Wings can be purchased separately or with one of our cost saving packages (see order cart below).
Please be advised that our replacement Wind Wings will not fit 2010 & up GSA models. They will fit 2010 & up GS models but only when equipped with a Cee Baileys shield.

Clamping bolts are used for adjusting the shields height and the originals have been reported break without warning. Our design is built to last a lifetime with fully threaded brass inserts, upgrade now & you’ll be glad you did. For riders purchasing the enhanced system please be advised that most of the original clamping bolts are too short. Our extra long shaft makes installation and shield adjustment a breeze for any GS or GSA model.
All shields are manufactured from .150 aircraft grade acrylic and available in clear, green, light & dark gray tints.
