I installed my CB #1 stock height windshield on my 2004 K1200LT and I can't believe I waited so long to replace the hazy, fogged, original. The new windshield is crystal clear, seems to give better wind protection, and is absolutely fantastic. I should have gotten it years ago.

I was driving from Dallas to Corpus Christi Saturday, between cloudbursts. Before leaving I purchased one of your replacement windshields from a friend from a bmw forum website who had been involved in an accident (long story short, the cee bailey's screen was in the garage for storage when the bike went down), which I put on before my trip.
As I rode, because of the strange changes in barometric pressure, or the drizzling rain, I noticed something I've never seen before. dozens and dozens of birds, probably 6-7" in size wings unspread, were frantically darting back and forth all over at very low altitudes, 6-12 feet off the ground.
At a GPS-indicated 88 mph (I know, a little heavy on the throttle), there was a dull "THUD" on the upper left corner of the thankfully fully-extended windscreen. I've attached pictures of what was left of one of these maniac birds, a little more of which ended up on my formerly pristinely white joe rocket mesh riding jacket.
First chance I had I cleaned the screen, no scratches, no dents, no cracks, no chips, no breakage, no marks, no evidence that ANYTHING had ever happened...when minutes before a feathered missile had whalloped the front of my motorcycle with an impact velocity of at least 88 mph.
I'm not sure how the OEM windshield would have fared...since it was de-laminating and showed hairline cracks from just being exposed to the sun. But I CAN say that I am MOST impressed with the strength and quality of the thick, resilient, and most important to me Saturday SAFE product you manufacture.

Received my order today. I immediately installed and took an interstate ride to test the outcome of my decision to buy your product. The best way to say it is "Best decision for motorcycle windshield that I have made". Your stock shield actually created a better air pocket then the stock BMW shield and with a lower noise level. Probably due to the slightly more squared off upper area? Best of all the wife actually said that her space was less turbulent then with the stock shield. The clarity was as advertised and the main reason why I originally chose your product.
Let me sum it up: Great Product!!!!!!

I'm on my 3rd windscreen for the 03.
Tried new CB #2+0", #2+2". both stalled the screen
motor. +2" is too tall.
Have to look through it.
Just got in a CB#1+2". Excellent. I am 6'4" w/ 30"
inseam. I sit pretty
tall. I can easily see over this one and with it raised slightly,
the wind
noise is as low or lower than the #2 versions.
Went for 130 mile ride today with wife. We noticed the intercom
worked
better, less turbulance(than stock), neck is less sore.

Got my
new CeeBaileys windshield #2 for the K1200LT last Friday. Installed
it immediately and took off on a week end trip. Out of the last
four windshields I have tried, this one, by far, is the best.
I was in an hour down pour and with the windshield in the high
position, very little rain was hitting my face.
The only thing I might suggest is to make it about an inch wider.
And, maybe, with a little flare on the sides. Seem to be getting
air on the shoulders. Winter time will tell.

Just wanted
to give an excellent recommendation to other BMW owners about
my new Cee Bailey windshield. I am very impressed by the clarity,
rigidity and overall excellent quality of your windshield. I
own a manufacturing company and am very critical of quality.
I had an (overpriced) A ****** windshield that came nowhere
near the optical clarity or rigidity of your windshield. I am
6'1" and opted for the +2 shield which gives a perfectly
clear field of vision on the K1200LT. Thanks also for the cleaning
kit as I will use it to keep that clarity. I am a big believer
of recommending a good product to fellow consumers, and I truly
recommend your windshield for the K1200LT.

I
have had my Cee Baileys shield on my bike for over 1200 miles
so far. What a huge improvement over the stock one. The clarity
is everything it was advertised to be. Thanks for a great product!
