Designed to divert the side incoming ram air beyond the riders arms, smooth the airflow, and quiet the noise signature that is associated with the stock OEM shield .

The sportshield is shorter than the stock shields, and has a pronounced "domed top", giving the rider more "ram" air , which will allow more air to impact the riders torso, arms and helmet area.
