Our 2010 R 1200 RT design incorporates a subtle reverse curve that pushes the ram air up and over the rider. The upper ear design has been removed and tapered in for better aesthetics. The sides were filled in and blended to a tapered finish towards the top. Technically speaking this shield is not quite as wide at the top but don’t let the artificial ears width fool you. This shield is wider where it counts and out performs the original hands down without the original odd looking design. It provides better torso and shoulder protection plus it’s much more aesthetically pleasing. The result is a clean quiet pocket of air that reduces or eliminates the turbulent ram air and buffeting effects. Five different sizes to choose from, approx nineteen inches wide (width will vary slightly).
