Cee Bailey’s Aircraft Plastics, Inc., newly released 1200 RT shield is thicker than the OEM shield, is hand crafted and thermoformed using 3/16" Aircraft Grade acrylic.  Our new design utilizes a "head quieting" top flip with a milder "Euro Cut" top, that starts early, enabling us to make a shield that at even in stock OEM height will be an improvement over the OEM shield.  On the width side, we have introduced a mild reverse “flip” contour, which widens the "comfort pocket" for the maximum body protection.  We offer heights from -2” less than the stock OEM BMW height (when measured at the center) up to +4" over stock and up to +8" wider than the stock at the top of the shield. The -2” shield has only a slight top flip, but has approximately the same helmet protection as the stock height shield, but at less height than the stock shield. This is a good shield for those riders who have a compromised line of sight at eye level with the stock windshield. Also, this shield will provide more cooling air for taller riders in summer months.
