Our 2005-2009 R 1200 RT shield design incorporates a subtle reverse curve that pushes the air up and over riders. It also features a mild Euro design with a slightly lower center that allows for better vision with torso protection. The result is a nice clean quiet pocket of air that reduces or eliminates the turbulence and buffeting effects. Five heights and two different widths to choose from. Our three inch wider version is good for most average sized riders. The five inch width is great for larger riders or those who just want the most upper body coverage.

Please be advised that all our replacement shields widths are measured just below the top center. They feature a flatter surface which provides for better upper torso protection.
