Our new R1200 ST windshields are designed with more height than the OEM shield, which enhances the upper torso and helmet protection for the rider. These windshields also offer full widths, with no “V” channel in the shield.

The standard OEM shield measures approximately 4” high from the headlight cutout to the top of the “V” cut. The width on this shield at the top is approximately 14”, but has the cut out in the middle so there is minimal protection at the cutout.

Our large area shield for the ST has a standard “domed” shape, is 12.5” from the headlight cutout to the top of the shield, and is approximately 17” wide at the top of the shield. This shield is made from thicker .187 aircraft grade acrylic, and predrilled to fit the ST. Removal and replacement takes about 5 minutes. The shield has hand polished edges and retains the stock up and down feature.

Our “Euro” cut shield has a little less height at the middle than the “domed” shield, and the top cut is shaped like an inverted “domed” cut. This shield is approximately 11” in height, when measured from the headlight cutout, and the width at the top is a little more than 15”, when measured from the left and right top apexes. This shield is mildly quieter than the standard domed top, and offers more ability to see over the shield for shorter riders.

We also offer an exact size & shape as the OEM shield in dark gray, which complements some of the colors on the bike. This shield is also .187, aircraft grade acrylic.

For measuring purposes, please take a measuring tape and from the headlight cutout, go up to simulate the heights of the shield. At that point, you can do the same with the width for sizing purposes. This will give you a general idea of the size of each shield. The shields are available in three different tints and clear.
