Our OEM replacement windshield for the K1100LT is manufactured from .187 aircraft grade acrylic. The windshield essentially follows the same contours as the OEM, but we make the shield a little bit wider for better side torso protection, and up to 6” taller than stock. The taller windshield has an advantage as most riders do not have to extend the windshield as much as stock, to get a nice quiet ride.

This keeps the shield closer to the rider, which allows the air to pass the rider undisturbed, helping quiet the noise signature and turbulance, which is associated with the stock OEM shield as you extend the shield up and forward. Our windshield comes in clear, light gray and light green tint, and all shields are D.O.T. approved. Edges are hand ground and polished to a beautiful luster, and all four holes are CNC drilled to match the factory specifications. All windshields are manufactured from .187" aircraft grade acrylic
