Our K 1200 LT #2 is designed with a subtle reverse curve that pushes the ram air higher than the stock shield. The result is a nice quiet pocket of air that reduces or eliminates the turbulent buffeting effects. The bike pictured is a twenty four inch shield with a standard crown.  Please note that this shields reverse contour makes it stand taller and actually goes away from the rider. This shield will stand about two inches taller than the OEM of equal length. Our minus two or a twenty two inch shied will actually stand just as tall as the stock twenty four inch shield once installed. Height is determined by measuring from bottom center to top center, please measure prior to ordering. This shield is designed to be looked over and provides unequaled performance.

Two different crowns designs to choose from, the standard which is very similar to the OEM  or our Euro crown with a slightly lower center cut for better vision and upper body wind protection. BMW manufactures two different shields for the 1200 LT. The most common shield is the High Shield OEM Part # 46632307914 which is 24” in length. The other shield is called the Nied Rig OEM Part # 46632347010 which measures 17” tall more of a sport shield and not very common. Height is determined by measuring from the bottom center to the top center of the shield.
