Our new tall BMW R1100S Touring windshield is available up to 4" taller than the tall OEM BMW windshield. The stock tall OEM BMW windshield is 18" , and our standard is 20" tall. It can be ordered from 18-22" tall. There is a "flip" at the trailing edge of the windshield, which is more pronounced than the OEM tall shield. All edges are hand polished and mounting holes are drilled 1/32" larger than the OEM shield to allow better bolt clearance for expansion and contraction of the acrylic. Holes are hand polished to eliminate any stress points, and we have chamfered the acrylic around the rubber mirror channeling to allow for easy installation. Windshield can be ordered in dark gray, light gray, clear, light green tint and bronze. Material is nominal .187 thickness aircraft grade acrylic.
