Last week I bought one of your windshields for my 2006 Suzuki DRZ 400SM in clear. I was looking for something for some decent upper body protection from the cold for the winter months. When I called, the salesperson on the phone told me that it was only a sport shield and probably wasn't going to provide what I was looking for. I ordered it anyway, figuring it was worth a shot. I am happy to say that it meets and beats my expectations of how it would perform! Granted it doesn't provide complete protection for my upper body and head like a bigger shield or fairing might, but it makes a HUGE difference over not having one at all. I was able to endure 40 degree temps the other night without too much fuss or discomfort, wearing proper cold weather gear, of course. Before the windshield it was very unpleasant and I had figured riding during really cold weather wasn't going to happen.
A big plus is that the shield makes the bike much more manageable on the highway, as well. Before the shield I hated to get out on the Interstate and do 65 plus mph, because of the typical dual-sport instability and buffeting. Most of that is gone now and I'm finding myself having to watch my speed more carefully now, because it's a much smoother ride! So, I just want to say thanks for making my bike a better riding motorcycle... and to let you know that you shouldn't be shy about promoting it as something more than you do!
