Our SSC shield was designed to bring the shield closer to the rider. The space between the shield and rider is reduced while maintaining the classic look. The result is a nice pocket of clean air that reduces or eliminates the turbulence and   buffeting effects. To achieve the correct SSC shield height you must first determine what standard or original style shield size works best by clicking on this link: height & width.

Shield heights are measured from the center screw to the top of the shield. Once the correct shied height has been determined off the original or a replica design just add three inches to our SSC design. If you’re best suited for a ten inch standard design then you would need to order the thirteen inch with a SSC design.

Most bar mounted GPS units will not interfere with this shield

Windshield bags & dash mounted GPS units will interfere and not recommended

All shields are manufactured from .150 aircraft grade acrylic and available in clear, opaque black, green, light & dark gray tints.
