By combining a step contour on the frontal plate we were able to bring the trailing edge air closer to the rider. This redirects the air upward to lessen the noise signature and turbulence that is present with the original. The result is a shield that reduces or eliminates the turbulent buffeting effects. Better gas mileage, stability, with aesthetics that are second to none. It has also been reported to provide even better air than our original TRSSC and all shields are painted on the lower portion with a black mask.
It provides a good fit that parallels the fairing, same as the original 2009 Screaming Eagle edition. These windshields were originally made for the Screaming Eagle models only. Now with the Retro fitment kit it mounts right up to your standard Road Glide. This shield also includes the optional HD molding # 57660-09 in conjunction with our 2009 Screaming Eagle shield for a matched fit.
This is a 5 hole fairing, if you numbered the holes 1-5 starting from either side the center hole is always # 3 and a measurement is required between holes 1&2 or 4&5. With the shield on the bike measure the screw heads on center and it will be either 7 7/8" or 8 1/8" must specify when ordering in the drop box.
Manufactured from .150 gauge aircraft grade acrylic and available in clear, opaque black, light green, & light & dark gray tints.

Suggested Sizing is for most average body builds. Riders that are caught in between sizes need to determine torso, posture and neck considerations for best results. It is always better to be on the next shorter size when ordering dark gray or opaque black, (Must clearly see over the shield)
