The Road Glide TR Super Step Contour windshield is here, ready to be custom manufactured for your order. Each TRSSC windshield is hand crafted from impact resistant, aircraft grade acrylic, in .150 gauge. These windshields are direct replacements for your stock FLTR, and follow similar contour and patterns as our famous Electra Glide SSC windshields
The FLTRSSC windshield was developed in conjunction with our FLHT SSC windshields, to provide maximum comfort for the Road Glide rider/passenger. By combining a step contour on the frontal plate of the windshield, we are able to bring the trailing edge air closer to the rider, and redirect the air upward to lessen the noise signature that is present with the stock shield.
For years it has been reported by numerous riders, mechanics, and Harley parts professional alike that the OEM Harley molding/trim is troublesome and has always had a less than perfect fit. We have eliminated the vertical mounting slots on the shield and now we offer direct hole mounting for all FLTR’S. When used in conjunction with our just released hardware install upgrade kit, you will have a rock solid fit you never thought would be possible. No more unsightly gaps or indentation marks on your shield ever again. We closely matched the shield to the fairing contour so you don’t have to hassle with the trim fitting issues anymore. Our design closely parallels the OEM fairing so the trim piece is no longer needed.
All TRSSC windshields come predrilled, and are made to fit each bike. You can use current OE mounting hardware or purchase the superior upgrade mounting kit (SOLD SEPERATELY). We hand buff and edge polish each windshield to a brilliant luster, and you can order the size to suit your riding style. We manufacture 14", 15", 16, 17, and 18" models. All shields are available in clear, light gray tint, light green tint, dark gray tint & opaque black. We finish each shield with a painted black mask, which covers the lower part of each windshield, similar to the stock OE shield. All measurements are taken from the center hole to the top of the windshield.
The OEM molding/trim can be re-installed however modification is likely. For the very best results discard the OEM molding/trim. This shield has been reported to fit the OEM optional chrome molding however modifications may be required at the buyer’s expense.
Suggested Sizing is for most average body builds on stock seats. Riders that are caught in between sizes need to determine torso, posture, and neck considerations for best results. It is always better to be on the next shorter size when ordering dark gray or opaque black, (Must clearly see over the shield)
14" for most riders under 5’6"
15" for most riders 5'7" to 5’9"
16" for most riders 5’10 to 6’0"
17” for most riders 6’1” to 6’3”
18” for riders 6’4” and above
