| Harley FLTR Road Glide TR Super Step Contour Windshield |
Last Friday I picked up my TR Super Step windshield and installed it in your parking lot as I was on my way to a ride in the Sierras and then on to my daughters college graduation. I have tried several windshields on my Roadglide but this one will not be coming off! It not only looks great but it deflects the wind and the rain over your head. It also keeps the wind noise down. Thanks for a great product.

Hey Joe
I just brought my bike home from the Dealership and I thought you would like to hear my thoughts.
I had the chance to take a 75 mile trip on both back roads and interstate.
It was quite windy with 20 to 30 mph gust.
Installation was simple which include the installation of the Harley-Davidson Chrome trim.
The windshield came up to my chin which gave me a clear view over the shield. I sit fairly tall in the saddle being 6'4". Traveling at 70mph there was a nice wind pocket from shoulder to shoulder and forehead to saddle. I could measure the wind by raising my hand and letting the wind force my hand backwards. This backward force did not occur until I went outside my shoulders and near the top of my helmet. Traveling at 35 to 50 mph the wind pocket had the same field of range. At times during this trip there were occasions of harsh winds near the top of my helmet that caused severe noise and buffeting. But this was not uncommon being such high wind gust. Otherwise wind buffeting was very minimal.
I must say this windshield is far superior to the stock shield.
Traveling
at 50mph with the stock shield the wind turbulence would literally force my helmet off my head. At no time did I experience that kind of force even with 20 to 30 mph gust. The windshield appeared to be quite sturdy because at no time did it seem to rattle or flex.
In conclusion I thought the product was excellent. The wind protection was very good and comparable to the protection of the Ultra Classic and far superior to the stock shield. I also believe the looks of this shield on the Road Glide is top notch. I will be interested to see the passenger comments which will be coming shortly. It will also be interesting to see the difference if the seat height is lowered which I plan to do. This will probably eliminate all the wind off the helmet.
Please give me a call if you have any other questions.
Thank you for this opportunity to test a great product.
Regards,
