Our commuter windshield has been deigned for the street legal XR650L which is perfect for the sit down rider who wants the best torso protection for daily commuting. While the Super Sport still provides adequate torso protection it was designed for the off road enthusiast or stand up riders who like to ride hard. Both shields enhance rider comfort by diverting the ram air up higher. This in turn lessens the tendency towards the tired wrists and arms associated from even a low mileage commute. These shields mount on the plastic headlight fairing, you must drill (4) holes into the fairing to mount. Drilling template and all hardware is included. Both shields are quickly mountable and detachable. The windshield can be ordered in clear, light gray, or dark gray tints. The actual height above the Honda headlight fairing is approximately 8.5” on the Commuter & 6.5” for the Super Sport. The upper two mounting holes are provided with spacers to adjust the rake angle to best suit rider’s height and wind protection preferences. Each shield is hand polished to a brilliant luster and manufactured out of aircraft grade .150 acrylic.
