This is a our newly designed windshield for the two most popular Suzuki dual sports.
The shield is 11" tall (over the number plate plastic) and 17" wide. The shield requires (4) holes drilled into your stock number plate plastic for mounting. The windshield is held on by four nylon allen screws with captive nuts for secure mounting. When mounted, the shield has a venturi like vent built in to the shield to lessen the backpressure on the lee side of the screen, which enhances comfort and reduces helmet turbulence. The windshield also has a 15º reverse slant from plastic number plate which directs the air upward, away from the torso area. Testing has shown that a 6'1" rider has a clean flow of air at the top of his helmet at the lowest mounted position. When moved to the highest position, the air is pushed even further up the helmet. The windshield is manufactured from .125 aircraft grade acrylic, hand formed and polished.
