Please be advised that this shield is identified by a four hole mounting pattern.

This shield is designed to be ridden underneath and you'll be looking through the shield at all times. It's loosely based of the Honda GL1800 concept with equaled performance. Don't worry about the optics because our shields are manufactured out of cast acrylics. This is the same material used in just about every that flies and provides for the best optics possible. We filled in the lower portion to closely parallel the fairing just about eliminating water or debris from entering at the bottom. It features built in wind wings which are excellent for taking the air off the hands & forearms not to mention unequaled torso protection. The result is a shield that significantly reduces the turbulent buffeting effects that's associated with others.

This shield is an ideal choice for touring and cold riding conditions. We also offer a visor vent option that increases air flow and makes a great shield even better. The visor vent is a five position adjustable OEM Honda Goldwing product. The shield is effective all by itself but regardless of any shield you choose, the lower turbulence issue needs to be addressed. Shields are manufactured from .187 aircraft grade acrylic and available in clear & light gray tints. Light gray is a Dept of Transportation approved tint that's good for all riding conditions day or night.

Please be advised that direct sunlight overhead may cause reflections off the tank on to any extended sized shield (silhouettes are normal). This is also present on the original equipment taller shields too. We have resolved this issue by including a decorative static cling light deflection patch that affixes to the top of tank. It may or may not be needed and is included with every Silencer shield. Simply peel and place the glossy side down to the top of the tank as pictured (must clean). The color is matt black and the patch can easily be removed or installed in seconds. The static patch will not cause paint damage and is a residue free material (avoid fuel spills to the patch).
